These terms apply to all services provided by Plesha Design ("I", "me") to the client ("you"). By requesting a quote, paying a deposit, or subscribing to a maintenance plan, you accept these terms. Any project-specific written agreement takes precedence where it conflicts with this page.
I provide custom web design and development. Scope, deliverables, features and timeline are agreed in writing before work begins. Anything not listed in the agreed scope is considered additional work and is quoted separately. Typical delivery is 1–3 weeks from receipt of all required content and approvals; delays in your feedback or content shift the timeline accordingly.
Project pricing is quoted individually — there is no fixed public project rate. A non-refundable deposit of 50% secures your start date; the remaining balance is due on launch or on delivery of the completed files. Prices are in EUR. Invoices are payable within 7 days. Late payment may result in suspension of work, hosting, or maintenance until the balance is settled.
The maintenance plan starts from €50 per month, with the final rate depending on the website's needs, size and complexity. It is billed monthly in advance as a subscription for ongoing care, not a pay-per-hour service, and includes: domain management (where the domain is provided through me), website monitoring, security and performance checks, up to 2 minor content updates per month, technical support, contact form and reservation monitoring, bug fixes, basic SEO maintenance, cross-device compatibility checks, and priority response within 24–48 hours.
Unused monthly updates do not carry over to the following month. The subscription renews automatically each month and can be cancelled by either side with 30 days' written notice. Fees already paid for the current period are not refundable. If the subscription lapses, monitoring, support and any included services stop immediately.
Work beyond the agreed project scope or beyond what the maintenance plan includes (larger changes, new pages, new features, redesigns) is billed hourly:
Time is estimated and approved in writing before the work starts, and billed in 30-minute increments thereafter. The subscriber rate applies only while the maintenance plan is active and paid.
Two rounds of design revisions are included per project phase. Further revisions, or changes requested after written approval of a phase, are billed at the applicable hourly rate above.
You are responsible for supplying accurate content, images, logos and access credentials in a timely manner, and for ensuring you hold the rights to all material you provide. You confirm that any content you supply does not infringe third-party rights and is lawful. You indemnify me against claims arising from material you provided.
Hosting, domains, email providers, payment processors, booking systems and other third-party tools are governed by their own terms and are billed at cost where I arrange them on your behalf. I am not responsible for outages, price changes, data loss or policy changes by those providers.
Upon full payment, you own the final design and code delivered for your project. Until full payment is received, all work remains my property and may not be used or published. Pre-existing components, frameworks, libraries and internal tooling remain mine and are licensed to you for use within your project only. I retain the right to display the work in my portfolio and on social media unless agreed otherwise in writing.
By commissioning a project, you agree that I may place a small, professional design credit — such as “Website by Plesha Design” with a link to pleshadesign.com — in the footer or another appropriate area of your completed website. This credit helps promote my work and lets visitors know who built the site. If you would prefer not to include it, please request the removal in writing before the project begins; otherwise it will be included by default.
If you cancel a project after work has begun, the deposit is retained and any work completed beyond it is invoiced at the applicable hourly rate. If a project stalls on your side for more than 60 days without communication, it is treated as cancelled under the same conditions; restarting it may require a new quote.
Bugs in delivered functionality reported within 14 days of launch are fixed free of charge. This does not cover changes of scope, new requirements, issues caused by third-party updates, or edits made by you or another party. Websites are provided "as is" beyond this warranty; the maintenance plan is the recommended way to keep a site healthy long-term.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim relating to a project or subscription is limited to the amount you paid me for that project, or the last three months of subscription fees, whichever is lower. I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or third-party service outages.
Any non-public information you share is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties except where necessary to deliver the service or required by law. Handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
I reserve the right to decline or discontinue work on projects involving illegal activity, hate speech, adult content, deceptive schemes, or anything that could reasonably damage my reputation. In such cases, fees paid for work already performed are non-refundable.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order or renewal applies. Material changes to subscription pricing are communicated at least 30 days in advance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Croatia. Disputes are resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then by the competent courts in Croatia.
